•Minutes after an emergency or disaster hits our communities, essential services may be cut off and local disaster relief may not be available for up to 72 hours. The Incident Commander, Myron E.Bateman, Director of Health, will determine when the MRC is to become activated. Under the direction of the Incident Commander is the Emergency Coordinator, Bucky Whitehouse. The MRC receives direction from the Advisory Board.  Members of the Advisory Board includes representation from county emergency management, local hospitals, and local EMS provider agencies.
